Illinois country grain prices were
lower on Wednesday afternoon. Technical selling at the Board of
Trade sent grain prices lower. Soybeans moved lower despite the
sale of 120,000 tonnes of US soybeans to China.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 13 to 16 cents lower at 5.88-5.97. Soybean
bids traded 14 to 19 cents lower at 13.82-13.93.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 11 to 15 cents lower at 5.95-6.11. Soybean bids were
16 to 18 cents lower at 13.83-13.95.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 13 to
16 cents lower at 6.03-6.26. Soybean bids were 16 to 19 cents
lower at 13.94-14.14. Wheat bids were 1 to 5 cents lower
at 5.90-6.11.
