Marjorie M. Hickey, 86, of Mount Pulaski, formerly of Lincoln, died Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at
St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

Lincoln- Marjorie M. Hickey, 86, of Mt. Pulaski
formerly of Lincoln passed away on Tuesday, April
17, 2012 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Hickey will be
held on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Holy
Family Catholic Church in Lincoln with Rev. Glenn
Fontanna officiating.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30
p.m. on Friday at the Peasley Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Lincoln.
Marjorie Mae Hickey was born on June 16, 1925 in
Waynesville, Illinois the daughter of Holton and
Emma Meechum Leever. She married Harold E. Hickey on
October 11, 1948 in Lincoln. He preceded her in
death on June 6, 1997.
Surviving are her children: Larry (Nancy) Hickey of
Warrensburg, Gary (Patti) Hickey of Forsyth, Michael
(Barb) Hickey of Springfield, Linda (Larry) True of
Georgetown, Ky., Nine grandchildren, Eleven great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and one
sister.

She was a former member of Our Lady of Loudres Catholic Church in
Decatur.
She had been employed at K Mart and General Electric in Decatur.
She was an avid BINGO player. She will be missed dearly by all whom knew
her.
Memorials may be made to the Vonderlieth Living Center Activity
Department in Mt. Pulaski. |
