Wednesday morning, city officials celebrated Arbor Day in Lincoln by planting a new tree in the Shay Parking Lot behind Guzzardo's.  Lincoln is a Tree City, recognized by the National Arbor Day Foundation as a city that works to preserve trees within the city landscape.  Pictured left to right are Susan Gehlbach, city clerk; Tracy Jackson, street and alley and forestry department head; and Mark Mathon, city engineer.  The Cleveland Select Pear tree is one of four new trees in the parking lot.
