McLEAN -- Christian J. Gibson, 23, of
rural McLean, died Sunday, April 22, 2012, in rural McLean.

McLean- Christian J. Gibson, 23, of
rural McLean passed away on Sunday,
April 22, 2012 in rural McLean.
Funeral Services for Mr. Gibson will be
held on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at
10:00 a.m. at the McLean Christian
Church with Mr. Tony Billingsley
officiating.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m.
until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25,
2012 at the McLean Christian Church.
Burial will be in Funks Grove Cemetery
in rural McLean.
Christian Joseph Gibson was born in
Normal on February 15, 1989 the son of
Jack Patrick and Vicky Yantis Gibson. He
married Lindsey Eckmann in June of 2010.
She survives.
Surviving him are his parents of McLean,
his wife, two children: Rylie and Blake
Gibson, one sister: Sarah Williams of
Downs, two brothers: Seth Gibson of
McLean, Jeremy Gibson of Lincoln.
Paternal grandparents: Allen & Judith
Gibson of Bloomington.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Connie Yantis
and Harold Yantis.
Christian graduated from Olympia High School in 2007.
He was a diesel mechanic for Ryder Truck in Normal.
He was involved in the American Passion Play in Bloomington. |
