City parks workers released the bird Monday, four days after it was patched up at Ocean Beach Veterinary Hospital in Longview.
Clinic technician Adrienne Myers told The Daily News (http://is.gd/YmJkfh) it's a feisty duck that is healing up well and happy to go home.
The duck attracted attention for more than a month as people tried to help it. But it could still swim and fly, and it got away until it was finally netted July 24 by parks workers.
