Illinois country grain prices were
lower on Wednesday afternoon. Technical trading and profit
taking at the Board of Trade weakened grain futures.
Slow export interest for wheat also helped to push wheat futures
lower.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 6 to 13 cents lower at 7.80-7.98.
Soybean bids traded mostly 38 to
51 cents lower at 16.62-16.78.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 7 to 10 cents lower at 8.00-8.20.
Soybean bids were 12 to 22 cents
lower at 16.97-17.29.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were mostly
7 cents lower at 7.94-8.35.
Soybean bids were mostly 33 to 49
cents lower at 16.72-17.04.
Wheat bids were 8 cents lower at
8.48-8.80.
