All first-place winners in the eight different cake divisions during the judging on Friday: Sheila Bradburn for her White Butter cake, Red Velvet cake and Angel Food cake; Sheila's granddaughter Ashlan Francis for Chocolate cake (ages 10-19); Annie Dunbar for Spice cake and Chiffon cake; Joan Dahmm for German Sweet Chocolate cake; and Jeanne Runyon for Chocolate cake.

The rules state if you win a first place at the judging on Friday, you have the right to bake on Sunday at the Cake Classic.
If a person wins in more than one category, they get their choice as to which kind of cake they want to bake.

This year's Cake Classic will be somewhat of a family affair.

Sheila Bradburn and her granddaughter Ashlan will be competing against each other.
