Illinois country grain prices were
lower on Tuesday afternoon.
In a quiet trading session, grain
futures ended lower.
Many traders and funds continue to
take profits before the USDA's report to be released on Friday.
Chances for rainfall and cooler
temperatures for the cornbelt weighed on soybean futures.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 7 to 10 cents lower at 7.76-8.00.
Soybean bids traded mostly 6 to 18
cents lower at 15.72-15.91.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 5 to 7 cents lower at 7.95-8.10.
Soybean bids were 27 to 33 cents
lower
at 15.92-16.13.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 12 to
13 cents lower at 7.84-8.25.
Soybean bids were 26 to 34 cents
lower at
15.81-16.01.
Wheat bids were mostly 2 to 4
cents lower at 8.62-8.89.
