William J. Anderson, 83, of Lincoln, died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, at
9:05 a.m. at St. Clara's Manor.

Lincoln- William J. Anderson, 83, of Lincoln died at
9:05 A.M. on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at St. Clara's
Manor.
Bill was born in Lincoln on October 10, 1928 to
William A. and Ethel Callender Anderson. He married
Norma Stockton on July 8, 1948 in Lincoln. She
survives in Lincoln. Other survivors include
daughter: Rita Anderson of Normal; special sister in
law: Lois McCormick of Chestnut; and several nieces,
nephews and cousins. Bill was the last of his
immediate family. He was preceded in death by his
parents, brother Richard Anderson, and sister
Shirley Hunter.

Bill worked as a truck driver for Lincoln Transfer
Trucking Company from 1955 to 1984. He was a member
of the Teamsters Union #916.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on
Wednesday August 15, at Zion Cemetery in Lincoln
with Rev. Pastor Chuck Brannock officiating.
Memorials may be made to St. Clara's Manor or Faith
Fellowship Center in Heyworth, IL. Services are
being handled by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home in Lincoln.
