Lincoln-Patricia Ann Colegrove, age 58, of Lincoln, IL died at 4:01 A.M. Sunday, August 12, 2012 at her home.

Pat was born September 21, 1953 in Pekin, IL, the daughter of Herman H. and Mary Crossland Hampton. She was united in marriage to Lewis A. Colegrove Jr. on March 11, 1972 in Lincoln, IL.

Pat is survived by her husband of Lincoln, IL, mother of Taylorville, IL, 2 sons, Lewis A. Colegrove III of Buffalo, IL, Michael A. Colegrove of Lincoln, IL, and 1 daughter, Michelle Colegrove of Springfield, IL, 1 granddaughter, Kaitlin Colegrove of Benton, Arkansas, 2 brothers, Roger Hampton of Taylorville, IL and Samuel Hampton of Keokuk, Wisconsin. Pat was preceded in death by her father, and 2 brothers, Lawton and Brian Hampton.

Pat was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking for them. Pat also enjoyed her free time gardening. Pat worked for MTI Institute in Springfield, IL as a Financial Aid Counselor.

Pat's wishes were to be cremated. The family will meet with friends and relatives on Saturday August 18, 2012 from 2-4 P.M. at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
