Mary Hope Cusey, 92, of Lincoln, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at
12:58 p.m. at The Christian Village.

Lincoln-Mary Hope Cusey, age 92, of Lincoln, IL, died at 12:58 P.M. on
Monday, August 13, 2012 at The Christian Village,
Lincoln, IL.
Mary was born on September 29, 1919 in Buffalo Hart, IL, the daughter of
Harley Earl and Sylvia Edith Law Wells. She was united in
marriage to Gerald Delmar Cusey on June 30, 1940. He
preceded her in death.

Mary is survived by two sons, Robert E. (Pat) Cusey of Manassas,
Virginia and Ronald D. (Edith) Cusey of Yukon, Oklahoma,
four grandchildren, Jim (Stacey) Cusey, Jeff (April) Cusey,
John Cusey, and David (Andrea) Cusey, four great
grandchildren, James, Zach, McKenzie and Parker. She was
preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son
Richard and one brother William Wells.
Mary was a homemaker. She was a member of Leroy
Christian Church. Mary was recently honored for her
volunteer service at the Christian Village with the
naming of the new laundry room in her honor.
Visitation for Mary will be from 11:00 til noon on Thursday
at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, IL.
A graveside service for Mary will be at Oak Grove Cemetery
in Leroy, IL on Thursday August 16, 2012 at 2:30 P.M. with
Ryan Edgecombe officiating. Memorials may be made to
the Christian Village. |
