Illinois country grain prices were
mixed on Thursday afternoon, with corn and wheat higher and
soybeans lower.
A report indicating that the
Russian grain stocks might be the lowest in several years
strengthened wheat futures.
Soybean futures weakened as some
rain showers fell over the upper midwest and in Illinois.
Many are hoping the rain would
still help
the soybean crop.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 4 to 9 cents higher at 7.87-8.05.
Soybean bids were 9 to 10 cents
lower at 16.50-16.63.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 4 to 7 cents higher at 7.97-8.26.
Soybean bids were 4 to 10 cents
lower
at 16.65-16.90.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 4 to 9
cents higher at 8.04-8.31.
Soybean bids were down 5 to 10
cents at 16.50-16.88.
Wheat bids were 11 to 19 cents higher at 8.35-8.57.
