HEYWORTH -- Michael "Mike" Burleson,
48, of Heyworth, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at Advocate BroMenn
Medical Center in Bloomington.

Heyworth- Michael (Mike) Burleson, 48, of
Heyworth passed away Monday, August 20th, 2012
at Advocate BroMenn Hospital in Bloomington, Il. Visitation will be held Wednesday,
August 22nd from 3-8 p.m. at the
Heyworth Christian Church. Quiram Peasley Funeral Home of
Atlanta is in charge of
arrangements.
Funeral services will be held at
Heyworth Christian Church, 308 Vine St,
Heyworth Il on Thursday August 23 at 10
a.m. officiated by Rev. Kurt Flora.
Burial will be in Oakgrove
Cemetery in Leroy, Ill.
Mike was born on October 4, 1963
in Lincoln the son of Lillian
and Charlie Burleson.
Mike married Brandie Nicole
Coile on July 29, 2000 in Las
Vegas, Nevada. He is survived
by his wife, Brandie, daughter
Gracie Alexandra and son Braxton
Michael.
One sister: Ann (Ray) Billington,
Armington Il. Two Brothers: Jim
Gordon, and Glen (Ruth) Gordon,
both of Atlanta. Ed Burleson,
Bloomington Il, and many nieces
and nephews.
Mike was preceded in death by
parents, and two brothers Roger Gorden and Terry Burleson. |
 He graduated from Olympia High
School in 1982.
Mike was employed by Cargill,
Inc. in Bloomington.
His passion in life was his love
for motorcycles, cars and
trucks, but his true passion was
spending time with his wife and
children.
Memorials can be made to
Heartland Bank for an education
fund for his children.
