The Postville Courthouse site was the original seat of county
government in Logan County, with the current structure being a
reproduction of the original courthouse where Abraham Lincoln
practiced law. Join the volunteers of this great historic site as
they provide you a day to step back in time and enjoy crafts and
music of an era long ago.
Crafts that will be demonstrated include rug hooking, candle
dipping, the art of phrenology, silk ribbon embroidery, toy making,
coopering, chair making and more.
Sarah Watson with the Looking for Lincoln Heritage Coalition will
be the featured speaker.
Music and entertainment will be provided throughout the day by
Chris Vallillo, Mark Mathewson, Steven Staley and more. Also look
for Abe and Mary Todd Lincoln portrayers to greet visitors
throughout the day.
