Illinois country grain prices were
mixed on Tuesday afternoon, with soybeans higher and corn and
wheat lower.
Soybean values were supported by
the announcement from the USDA with the sale of 110,000 metric
tonnes of US soybeans to China for 2012-2013 delivery.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 3 to 5 cents lower at 7.80-8.00.
Soybean bids were mixed at
17.03-17.28.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were mostly 3 to 6 cents lower at 7.99-8.19.
Soybean bids were mixed at
17.44-17.68.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 4 to 5
cents lower at
8.07-8.29.
Soybean bids were mixed at
17.07-17.67. Wheat bids were 11 to 16 cents lower at 8.23-8.46.
