The first half saw both teams get a good chance at goal with both
keepers making saves. It mostly a midfield battle in the first half,
with each team getting only a couple shots. Lincoln was to go down a
man when Cedric Mavakala received his second yellow card in the
first half. At halftime the score was 0-0. Lincoln moved some
people around and came out strong in the second half despite being a
man down.
With 30 minutes left to play, Lincoln was called for a foul near
the box. ICC played a ball across the goal mouth, the ball bounced
around and was knocked in by ICC, making the score 1-0.
Despite being a man down, Lincoln continued to press and get good
shots at goal. However, with 20 minutes left, Kyle Walton made a
rash challenge at midfield, resulting in another red card. Down to
nine men, Lincoln still was able to get five shots on goal and three
corner kicks to ICC's one shot.
The whistle blew with ICC winning 1-0.
