[December 03, 2012]  A support group for people with diabetes mellitus will meet at a new time on the third Friday of each month at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

The one-hour meetings will begin at 11 a.m. in the hospital's Wombacher Room. The meetings are free and no registration is required.

Jennifer DiPasquale, a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator, leads the group.

"The diabetes support group is a great opportunity to get practical and timely information to learn how to manage your diabetes," DiPasquale said.

Family members, friends and caregivers are also welcome to attend the meetings.

The topics for the next two meetings are "Holiday Helpers" Dec. 21 and "New Year's Revolutions" Jan.18.
