Heart failure support group to meet at Memorial

[December 07, 2012]  SPRINGFIELD -- A support group for people with heart failure or at risk for heart failure, as well as their family members and friends, will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Conference Room D229 (second floor, Garden Zone) at Memorial Medical Center.

A physician, registered nurse, pharmacist and dietitian will be available for those attending to "Ask the Experts" questions about heart failure prevention and treatment, new treatments, medicines, lifestyle changes, or anything that can help people with heart failure live long, active lives.

The community support group is sponsored by Memorial Medical Center's heart failure support team.

Light refreshments will be served.
