Little Wonders is a program designed to introduce 3- to 5-year-olds
to the world around them. A naturalist will read a nature story
while incorporating hands-on discovery. This session’s topic covers
evergreens. Guests are invited to come and learn about the trees
that stay green all year long and see pine cones of all shapes and
sizes. In addition, the children will get to make a craft and have a
snack. Registration and adult chaperone are required.
The fee is $5 for child members of the nature center and $8 for
child nonmembers.
For more information or to register, phone 309-874-2174 or email
register@sugargrovenaturecenter.org. Note: The activities will
include eating pine nuts, so let the nature center know of any nut
allergies.
