Gilbert Russell Kratzner, 79, of Lincoln, died Tuesday, Dec. 11,
2012, in Springfield.

Gilbert Russell Kratzner, 79, of Lincoln, passed
away December 11, 2012 in Springfield, Illinois.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, December 18,
2012 at 7:00 PM at Holland Barry & Bennett
Funeral Home with Ed Lloyd officiating. A
memorial visitation will be from 5-7 PM also on
Tuesday at the funeral home.
Gilbert was born October 10, 1933 in Decatur,
IL., the son of Gilbert Henry and Dorothy
(Meadows) Kratzner. He married Lois Cox on June
16, 2000. He proudly served his country in the
United States Navy. |
Surviving are his wife
Lois Kratzner of Lincoln, IL., his son Frederick
Kratzner of Raeford, NC., his grandson Christopher
Kratzner in the US Army in Afghanistan, step
children: Laura Andring of Lincoln, IL.; Bryan
Hatfield (Brenda) of Lincoln, IL., and Brett
Hatfield (Melissa) of Decatur, IL. He is also
survived by 6 step grandchildren and 1 step great
grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his
parents and his first wife Nancy Lee.
Memorial donations will be made
to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home. |
