ATLANTA -- Harry "Owen" Johnson, 93, of
Atlanta, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at 12:01 p.m. at his home.

Atlanta- Harry "Owen" Johnson, 93, of Atlanta passed
away on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 12:01 p.m. at
his home.
Funeral Services for Mr. Johnson will be at 10:00
a.m. Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the Eminence
Christian Church in rural Atlanta with Mr. L.C.
Sutton officiating.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 26,
2012 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Quiram
Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta. Additional
visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00
a.m. at the church prior to the service.
Harry Owen Johnson was born on November 3, 1919 at
rural Waynesville the son of Harry Sinclair and Edna
Mae Wampler Johnson. He married Glenda Marjorie
Hieronymus on November 3, 1940 at Kenney, Il.. She
preceded him in death on October 4, 1996.
He is survived by his children: Donna (Robert)
Reiners of Gibson City, Louise Walker, Robert (Pat)
Johnson and Edward (Phyllis) Johnson
all of Atlanta. Seven Grandchildren and thirteen
great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister: Edna Phelps,
one granddaughter: Cathy Kaiser and one great
granddaughter: Abby Kaiser.
Owen was a member of the Eminence Christian Church,
Logan County Farm Bureau.
He retired from Lehn and Fink in Lincoln. He also
farmed in the Atlanta area for over 30 years.
Memorials may be made to either Eminence Christian
Church or the Atlanta Rescue Squad.
