Illinois country grain prices were
slightly lower on Thursday afternoon.
In light of holiday trading,
futures drifted lower.
Outside markets were a negative
influence on grain prices, though good export demand supported
both the wheat and soybean markets.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 2 cents lower at 6.73-6.99.
Soybean bids were mostly 5 to 7
cents lower at 13.88-14.06.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were steady to 1 cent lower at 6.84-7.01.
Soybean bids were 5 to 6 cents
lower at 14.07-14.25.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 2
cents lower at 6.71-7.07.
Soybean bids were 5 to 6 cents
lower at 14.19-14.44.
Wheat bids were 2 to 3 cents lower
at 7.51-7.72.
