ATLANTA -- Mary Louise Horath, 90, of
Atlanta, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at 9:11 p.m. at St. Clara's
Manor in Lincoln.

Mary Louise Horath, 90, of Atlanta passed away on
Friday, December 28, 2012 at 9:11 p.m. at St.
Clara's Manor in Lincoln.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Horath will be held on
Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Quiram
Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta with Mr. LC Sutton
officiating.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time
of the service Wednesday.
Burial will be in the Atlanta Cemetery.
Mary Louise Belcher was born on November 9, 1922 in
Lincoln the daughter of Theodore and Wilhelmina
"Minnie" Linkner Belcher. She married Vernie E.
Horath on August 13, 1943 in Bay City, Texas. He
preceded her in death on April 7, 2001.
Surviving Mrs. Horath are her children: James
(Shirley) Horath of Delavan, David A. (Rosalie)
Horath of Atlanta, Kathi (Grant) La Forge of New
Holland, daughter-in-law Emily Horath of Normal ,
Six granddaughters, three grandsons, three great
granddaughters. One Brother: John (Lynette) Belcher
of Mason City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son:
Rick, two sisters and one brother.

Mrs. Horath graduated from Lincoln Community High
School in 1940.
She was a member of the Eminence Christian Church and Prairie Bloomers
Doll Club of Illinois.
Memorials may be made to St. Clara's Manor, Eminence Christian Church
or the Logan County Humane Society. |
