 Attorney Jay Elmore says he
wants to stop representing Chris Harris
because Harris allegedly made incriminating statements about the
case to a fellow inmate who happens to also be a client of Elmore.
Elmore says in a motion filed Friday that he could be called as a
witness in the murder case.
Harris, who's 32, and his 23-year-old brother Jason are charged
with murder in the September 2009 deaths of Ruth and Rick Gee of
Beason and three of the couple's children.
The brothers have pleaded not guilty.
The case is already on hold while local officials search for
money to pay for the defense.
