[February 17, 2012]  BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) -- A Montana woman has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for taking payments from an Alabama man for allowing children in her care to be used to make child pornography.

The Billings Gazette (http://bit.ly/zxuUaf) reported that 44-year-old Michelle Marie Sipes of Billings was sentenced Wednesday by U.S. District Judge Jack Shanstrom, who also ordered a lifetime of supervised release.

Sipes pleaded guilty in September to aiding and abetting the receipt of child pornography. She acknowledged letting a man and woman from out-of-state make sexually explicit movies of children under the age of 12 from 2001 to 2004.

The case against Sipes developed from an FBI investigation into videotapes of a man and woman sexually assaulting children. Both are serving federal prison terms.
