Lincoln youth head to IKWF sectional this weekend

[February 28, 2012]  TOLONO -- Lincoln Youth Wrestling participated in the Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation regional tournament at Tolono Unity High School on Sunday. The Lincoln results were as follows:

• Bantam -- Coleman Atkins and Tony Gandolfi finished first. Cooper Atkins, Chase Reed and Dustin Meachum came in third.

• Intermediate -- Alex Bogdanic placed first. Ethan Towers was second, and Kade Schmidt and Tyler Werth finished third. Austin O’Donoghue, Trevor Bree and Justin Horchem competed in the tournament also.

• Senior -- Chelsey Werth finished in second.

Alex Bogdanic, Ethan Towers, Kade Schmidt, Tyler and Chelsey Werth all advance to the IKWF sectional in Monticello on Saturday.
