CEL claims 8th-grade county championship

[January 17, 2012]  The eighth-grade team from Chester-East Lincoln came into the county tournament as the No. 3 seed and was able come away with the title.

The Panthers beat WLB 41-38 in the title game.

'The Panthers made 15 of 21 free-throw attempts to secure the win.

Quentin Batley led the way with 12 points. Zach Podunajec had eight points, Drew Martin and Derek Jacobs seven each, Tyler Harp six, and Connor Routson had one to round out the scoring for CEL.
