 Chelsey and Tyler Werth along with Ethan Towers competed in the Jon
Davis IKWF Kids Open in Springfield. Chelsey placed third in the
senior girls 103-pound weight class; Ethan placed third in the
intermediate 109-pound weight class; and Tyler came home in fourth
in the intermediate 55-pound weight class.Coleman and Cooper
Atkins competed in the Goddard Invitational in Goddard, Kan. Coleman
came in fifth in the bantam 58-pound weight class, and Cooper placed
fourth in the 6-and-under 46-pound weight class.
Lincoln Youth Wrestling will host a dual meet with the Clinton
Wrestling Club at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Lincoln Junior High School.
Lincoln Junior High will wrestle with Tremont on Tuesday also.
That meet is scheduled to start at 5 p.m.
The public is encouraged to come out to support both teams.
