Lincoln-Sherry Sue Volk, age 62, of Lincoln earned her angel wings at 9:20 A.M. Sunday January 29, 2012.

Sherry was born on February 3, 1949 in Roodhouse, Il., the daughter of Edward and Mary Merriman Osborne. Sherry is survived by two daughters, Crystal Williams of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Michelle Thompson of Lincoln, Il., one son, Justin Volk of Hudson, Il., five grandchildren and six great grandchildren, 5 sisters, Winifred (Roy) Meserole of Clinton, Il., Pat (Larry) Bale of Mason City, Il., Linda Triplett of Middletown, Il., Carla (Papa) Rogers of Westhoff, Texas and Connie (Ed) Hardwick of Spanish Fort, Alabama, 3 brothers, Terry (Candy) Osborne of Roodhouse, Il., Gayle (Cindy) Osborne of Louisiana, Mo., and Don (Sally) Osborne of Roodhouse, Il. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, one niece and two nephews.

Sherry was a homemaker.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Friday February 3, 2012 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, Il. from 6-8 P.M. Memorials may be made to the family.
