Isolated T-storms possible; heat and humidity continue through week

The National Weather Service in Lincoln
released the followed weather outlook at 6:18 a.m. Monday for the
counties of Cass, Champaign, Christian, Coles, DeWitt, Douglas,
Edgar, Fulton, Knox, Logan, Macon, Marshall, Mason, McLean, Menard,
Morgan, Moultrie, Peoria, Piatt, Sangamon, Schuyler, Scott, Shelby,
Stark, Tazewell, Vermilion and Woodford in central and east-central
Illinois:

Monday
and Monday night:
Isolated thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and
evening. Severe weather is not anticipated. However, any storms that
develop will be capable of producing gusty winds, small hail and
locally heavy rainfall.
Tuesday through Sunday:
An extended period of heat and humidity is in store across all of
central Illinois through next weekend. Daytime high temperatures
will rise well into the 90s each day, with heat index values likely
exceeding 100 degrees.
