CHESTNUT -- Darrell Eugene Leimbach,
73, of Chestnut, died Thursday, July 5, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. at his
home.

CHESTNUT-Darrell Eugene Leimbach, age 73, of
Chestnut, IL passed away at his home at 7:30 p.m. on
Thursday, July 5, 2012.
Darrell was born on November 23, 1938 in Lincoln,
IL, the son of Wilford Carl and Irene A. Koester
Leimbach. He was united in marriage to Carol
Hembreiker on May 4, 1957 in Lincoln, IL.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Valerie
(George) Davis of Lincoln, IL, 2 grandchildren,
Jason Lee of Lincoln, IL and Ashley (Geramo Cruz)
Lee of Noblesville, Indiana, 2 great-grandchildren,
Mason Lee and Cayden Cruz.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son,
Gregory Leimbach.
Darrell was a retired farmer. He was a member of
Zion Lutheran Church of Chestnut, IL; Chestnut Men’s
Club, Sons of the American Legion of Mt. Pulaski, IL
and was a former board member of the Bank of
Chestnut.
Darrell was cremated. Private family services will
be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to
Memorial Home Hospice or to The American Cancer
Society. Arrangements are by
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home of Lincoln, IL.
