Nona Mae Perry, 74, of Lincoln, died Thursday, July 19, 2012, at
1:25 a.m. at Maple Ridge Care Centre.

LINCOLN-Nona Mae Perry, 74, of Lincoln, passed away
at 1:25 a.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Maple
Ridge Care Centre, Lincoln, IL.
Nona was born on June 21, 1938 in Jacksonville, IL
the daughter of John and Alma Cone Butler. She
married Duane Perry on June 10, 1956 in Green Pond,
IL.
He survives in Lincoln. She is also survived by four
children: Katherine Dale of Lincoln, IL; Penny
Voight of Pekin, IL; Janice (Tom) Sexton of Mason
City, IL and Dennis (John Schreiber) Perry of St.
Louis, MO; Five siblings: Ben (Betty) Butler of
Pearl, IL; Corrine (Larry) Weinant of Pittsfield,
IL; Karen (Jim) Shaffer of Milton, IL; Chris (Wendy)
Butler of Winchester, IL; and Steve (Emily) Butler
of Arkansas; seven grandchildren and thirteen great
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son: Walter John
Perry and one great grandson: Andrew Stafford.
Nona was a nurse's aide at Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Hospital and several nursing homes. She was a member
of Broadwell Christian Church. She was very active
with the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and the church
choir.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday,
July 22, 2012. Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on
Monday at Green Pond Cemetery, Green Pond, IL. Nona
had MS for many years and family would like
memorials be given to Multiple Sclerosis of Logan
County.
