Elaine M. Harris, 78, of Sunrise Beach, Mo., formerly of Lincoln, died
Thursday, July 12, 2012, at 11:44 a.m. at the Laurie Care Center in
Laurie, Mo.

Lincoln- Elaine M. Harris, 78, of Sunrise Beach,
Missouri passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at
11:44 a.m. at Laurie Care Center in Laurie Missouri.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, July
28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Harmony Cemetery in rural
Beason with Fr. James Cravens officiating.
Elaine Mary Harris was born on November 1, 1933 in
Beason the daughter of Donald and Julia Hordy Hart.
She married Harold "Bub" Harris on December 31, 1951
at the Harmony United Methodist Church in rural
Beason. He preceded in death on August 17, 2009.
Surviving her are her children: Shelley (Jim) Horn
of Atlanta, Harold "Bill" Harris of Springfield. One
grandson: Kyle (Mary) Horn of Dunlap, one great
grandson: Tyson Horn. She is also survived by many
nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother: Dickie
Hart.
Elaine and Bub owned the Harris Gold Mine Tavern in Lincoln for many
years. They moved to Sunrise Beach in 1995.
