MOUNT PULASKI -- Judith Reeves, 65, of
Mount Pulaski, died Monday, July 23, 2012, at 6:45 a.m. at her home.

Mt. Pulaski- Judith Reeves, 65, of Mt. Pulaski, died
at 6:45 A.M. on Monday July 23, 2012 at her
residence.
Judy was born on September 23, 1946 in Lincoln, IL,
to Erwin H. and Mildred Richert Knauer. She married
Charles “Chuck” Reeves on April 12, 1980 in
Danville. He preceded her in death on November 7,
2006. Other survivers include brother: Gary (Judy)
Knauer of Mt. Pulaski, IL; nephew: Vance Knauer;
step-daughters: Gayle Hoock of Mt. Pulaski (fiancé
Dan Hutchison); Kimberly (Michael) Gordon of
Barrington, IL; Denise (Mario) Melo of Sioux City,
IA; grandchildren: Patrick, Mario, and Karla Melo;
Ashley (Kevin) Badger; Justin (Liz) Gordon; Marcus
and Kurtis Hoock. She was preceded in death by her
parents.

Judy worked logistics for Caterpillar. She was a
very active member of Zion Lutheran Church in Mt. Pulaski
and devoted much of her time there. Her family and church
were a very important part of her life.
Services for Judy will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday,
July 28, at Zion Lutheran Church in Mt. Pulaski with Rev.
Christopher Decker conducting services. There will be a
visitation from 4-7:00 P.M. on Friday July 27 at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home. Burial will be at
Mt. Pulaski Cemetery in Mt. Pulaski. Memorials may be made
to the Zion Lutheran Church or School in Mt. Pulaski.
