			Marvel, 99, of Waynesville, died Thursday, May 31, 2012, at 6:13 
			a.m. at her home. (Below is a copy of 
							the obituary from the funeral home.) ___ 
							Waynesville – Susannabelle “Sue” Marvel, 99, of 
							Waynesville, passed away today, Thursday, May 31, 
							2012, at 6:13 a.m. at her home.
 Funeral Services for Mrs. Marvel will be held on 
							Saturday, June 2, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at Quiram-Peasley 
							Funeral Home in Atlanta. Rev. Andrew Maxwell will 
							officiate.
 
 Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 
							p.m. on Saturday prior to the service at the funeral 
							home.
 
 Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Waynesville.
 
 Susannabelle “Sue” Irvine Marvel was born on January 
							9, 1913, in Beason, the daughter of John and 
							Margaret Roulston Irvine. She married William Marvel 
							on February 20, 1938. He preceded her in death on 
							November 19, 2009.
 
 Surviving Mrs. Marvel are two sons, Larry 
							(Charlotte) Marvel of Kenney and Charles (Linda) 
							Marvel of Waynesville; five grandchildren: Jeff 
							Marvel, Susan Reynolds, Richard Marvel, Alissa Grant 
							and Craig Marvel; and nine great-grandchildren.

							Sue was preceded in death by her parents, her 
							husband and one grandson, Ken Marvel. 
		
		Sue was a member of the Waynesville United Methodist Church. She was 
		also a member of the Eastern Star.
 The most important thing to Sue was her family, always putting the needs 
		of them first. Up until the age of 92, Sue was still taking care of her 
		family and home, cooking meals, cleaning and running the farm. She was a 
		beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly 
		missed.
 
 Memorials may be made to Waynesville United Methodist Church or a 
		charity of the donor’s choice.
 
 Final arrangements are entrusted to Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home.
