[June 07, 2012]  NEW YORK (AP) -- Stocks that moved substantially or traded heavily Wednesday on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Market:

Hovnanian Enterprises Inc., up 31 cents at $2.01

Thanks to more home deliveries and an improving backlog, the homebuilder said that it returned to a profit in its fiscal second quarter.

Lee Enterprises Inc., up 18 cents at $1.33

Billionaire Warren Buffett's company Berkshire Hathaway Inc. disclosed that it owns about 3.2 percent of the newspaper company.

Unitedhealth Group Inc., up $1.66 at $57.70

The health insurer said it will raise the quarterly dividend it pays shareholders by more than 30 percent due to stronger growth.

Halliburton Co., down $1.02 at $28.10

The oil services firm said that rising costs for a fluid additive used in oil and gas drilling will hurt its second-quarter results.

Nasdaq

Cyberonics Inc., up $1.73 at $39.57

The neurological device maker's fourth-quarter profit jumped 44 percent on increasing demand for its epilepsy treatment.

Bob Evans Farms Inc., down $2 at $38.44

The restaurant operator's fourth-quarter net income climbed 20 percent from a year ago, but its revenue fell short of expectations.

Ulta Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance Inc., up $7.36 at $94.74

The beauty retailer, which operates 467 stores, said that strong sales helped its first-quarter profit jump nearly 50 percent.

Ancestry.com Inc., up $2.43 at $25.06

Bloomberg reported that the genealogy website may want to sell itself.
