Heather Curry (4-0) pitched the opener,
allowing five hits, striking out three and walking three. Brooklyn
Hermes made her pitching debut in the nightcap and dominated St.
Agnes, allowing just two hits.
In the opener, the Eagles scored four with a walk to Grace
Hemenway, an RBI sacrifice by Danielle Burgrabe, a double by Sydney
Johnson, a single by Rachel Podbelsek, a walk to Kalyn Roberts, an
RBI single by Curry and a two-RBI single by Mya Roberts. The Eagles
allowed three runs in the bottom of the first on an error, two hits

in the second.
In the third, the Eagles scored the seven-run limit on a single
by Mya Roberts and RBI singles in succession by Katie Hunsley,
Alexis Van Hook, Tori Tripplett and Hemenway, followed by an RBI
double by Burgrabe and RBI singles by Hermes and Johnson.
Springfield scored on a single followed by a walk, a single and was
threatening with two runners on, but Curry struck out the last two
hitters to secure the win.
The second game was an ugly win for the Eagles. St. Agnes started
a pitcher who allowed 14 runs in two innings on 14 walks. As a
result of the wildness, 11 runs scored from third on wild pitches.
Curry had the lone Eagle hit and RBI. The only inning that Hermes
faced more than the minimum was in the first, when Springfield
scored on two hits and three walks.
