The team was led offensively by Libby Burris, who had nine singles
and six RBIs for the series, followed closely by Aurora Board with
seven singles, two doubles and seven RBIs, and Kayla Maly with seven
singles, three doubles and 11 RBIs.
Defensively the team held tough with an overall fielding percentage
of .918.On the mound, Lincoln Chill pitchers Anna Hayes, Kayla
Maly and Haley Sieg got it done, recording an impressive combined 27
strikeouts, six walks, three shutouts and one perfect no-hitter.

The team will compete in a Bloomington tournament this weekend,
followed by a Springfield tournament the last week of June, and
will close out the season with a trip to the Illinois Amateur
Softball Association state tournament in Moline July 5-8. The
last home game will be on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Lincoln Junior
High School.
