PEKIN -- Francis A. "Tony" Lahr, 75, of
Pekin, died Saturday, June 23, 2012, at 1:45 p.m. at Timber Creek
Nursing Home in Pekin.

Pekin-Francis A. "Tony" Lahr, age 75, of Pekin, IL, died at 1:45 P.M.
Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Timber Creek Nursing Home
in Pekin, IL.
Tony was born September 21, 1936 in Lincoln, IL, the son of Earl and
Elsie Hindman Lahr. He is survived by one daughter; Tina
Ganion, one stepson; Terry (LaVerne) Landers, two
stepdaughters; Pam (George) Barker and Bonnie (Henry)
Hewitt and one brother; Bill (Margaret) Lahr, three
grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous step
grandchildren and step great grandchildren and numerous
nieces and nephews. |
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers;
Robert, Don, Joe, Roy and sisters; Dorothy, Eileen, Mary,
Mildred and 2 stepsons; Ronnie and Steve Landers.
Tony was retired from Caterpillar. He enjoyed
Nascar racing, fishing, gardening and his trips to Las
Vegas, Nevada.
Services for Tony will be Wednesday June 27, 2012 at 10:00
A.M. at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln,
Il. with Rev. Larry Maffett officiating. Burial will
be in New Union Cemetery, Lincoln, Il. Visitation will be
Tuesday from 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be
made to The Kidney Foundation or Donor’s Choice.
