The judges acknowledged that 23-year-old Chelsea Sorrell, from Stokesdale, N.C., didn't kick off Wednesday's installment on quite the right note with Carrie Underwood's "Cowboy Casanova." Baylie Brown, a 22-year-old singer from Krum, Texas, didn't fare much better by delivering a lukewarm rendition of "Amazed" by Lonestar.
"I've heard you sing better," Tyler said.
The top 25 semifinalists, including the 13 men who performed Tuesday, will all learn Thursday if they received enough votes to be among the viewer-selected top 10 contestants or one of the three "wild card" finalists picked by the show's judges. The 13 singers will take to the stage next week for the first round of the finals of season 11.
