MOUNT PULASKI -- Edna Alma Lydia Yagow,
90, of Mount Pulaski, died Thursday, March 1, 2012, at 7:44 p.m. at
Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Yagow, 90, passed away at 7:44 PM on Thursday March
1, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Edna was born on September 16, 1921 in
Effingham County to Herman and Maria Bernahl Stuemke. She
married Raymond Yagow on April 5, 1942 in Altamont, IL. He
survives in Mt. Pulaski.

Other survivors include her
children: Kay (Jim) Jacobson of The Villages, FL; Eugene
(Carol) Yagow of Roanoke, VA; Gloria (Butch) Morrow of Mt.
Pulaski, IL; daughter in law: Donna Yagow of Lincoln, IL;
sisters: Norma Wolf of Altamont, IL; Helen (Paul) Marchionda
of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren: Kim, Chad, Katie,
Nathan, Sam, C. T. and Patrick. Great grandchildren:
Timothy, Abigail and Logan. She was preceded in death by
her parents, sisters Elsie Winter; Ella Bandelow; and Mabel
Wolf; and her son Danny Yagow.
Services for Edna will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday March
6, 2012 at Zion Lutheran Church in Mt. Pulaski with Rev.
Christopher Decker conducting services. There will be a
visitation from 4-7:00 PM on Monday, March 5 at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski. Burial
will follow the service at Mt. Pulaski Cemetery. Memorials
may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church Building Fund.
