 In the intermediate division, Alex Bogdanic finished in third place
in the 95-pound weight class, and Ethan Towers finished third in the
122-pound weight division. Other wrestlers who competed were Kade
Schmidt, Tyler Werth and Chelsey Werth.In addition, two wrestlers
from Lincoln Junior High School advanced from the IESA wrestling
sectional at Dee-Mack last Saturday to the state tournament this
weekend at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. They are Max
Koning, the champion in the 112-pound weight class, and Seth
Gleason, who finished second at the 275-pound weight class.
Wrestling at the IESA state tournament will take place Friday and
Saturday.
