[March 09, 2012]  The Illinois Community Choice Aggregation Network, known as ICCAN, and the Lincoln & Logan County Development Partnership are announcing a local education effort to help inform voters on utility aggregation and how it can affect them. This collaborative plans to have town hall meetings in the communities that plan to place this opportunity on their ballot. All Logan County citizens are invited to attend and ask questions.

Most recently, there was a meeting in Emden with many of their concerned citizens.

Future town hall meetings are planned for:

  • Atlanta -- Wednesday, March 14, 3 p.m., in the North Greens Golf Course clubhouse

  • Mount Pulaski -- Wednesday, March 14, 6:30 p.m., in the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall

  • Lincoln -- Thursday, March 15, 2:30 p.m., in the Rec Center

  • Lincoln -- Thursday, March 15, 6 p.m., in the Rec Center
