southern Plains through the eastern valleys and into the Great Lakes. Some of these thunderstorms may become strong during the afternoon as daytime heating picks up. This activity is expected to reach into the Eastern Seaboard
from Thursday into Friday.

In addition to precipitation, high winds are anticipated near the Pacific Northwest coast and in the Cascades.
