Illinois country grain prices were
mixed on Wednesday afternoon, with soybeans higher and corn and
wheat lower. Soybean futures were supported by export interest
and stronger soybean meal values.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 3 to 5 cents lower at 6.24-6.36. Soybean bids
traded 10 to 13 cents higher at 13.20-13.40.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 5 to 6 cents lower at 6.31-6.47. Soybean bids were 9
to 10 cents higher at 13.33-13.42.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 6
cents lower at 6.39-6.58. Soybean bids were mostly 10 to 11
cents higher at 13.38-13.51. Wheat bids were mostly 7 cents
lower at 6.17-6.41.
