Illinois country grain prices were mixed on Thursday afternoon,
with corn and
wheat higher and soybeans lower. Technical buying at the Board
of Trade helped
to lift wheat values. Soybean futures ended lower pressured by
weaker soybean
oil values.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids
mostly 2 to 4 cents higher at 6.25-6.40. Soybean bids traded
mostly 5 to 6 cents
lower at 13.14-13.32.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 3 cents
higher at 6.34-6.50. Soybean bids were 6 to 7 cents lower at
13.26-13.36.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were mostly
2 to 3 cents
higher at 6.39-6.61. Soybean bids were 4 to 5 cents lower at
13.34-13.46. Wheat
bids were 8 to 10 cents higher at 6.25-6.51.
