Illinois Grains - Grain futures ended sharply lower for the
week. While export news pushed prices higher last week, the lack
of export news and
sales to China could not keep prices from falling. There were
rumored sales to China early in the trading week, but nothing
was ever confirmed.
Without that kind of news, traders were starting to focus on
next week and the USDA's reports. On Friday, next week, the USDA
will release their Prospective Planting and Quarterly Grain
Stocks reports.
