Illinois country grain prices were
lower on Tuesday afternoon, with wheat futures sharply lower.
Improvements in the condition of the US wheat crop and technical
selling at the Board of Trade pushed wheat futures lower.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 7 to 8 cents lower at 6.11-6.25. Soybean bids
traded 11 to 12 cents lower at 13.38-13.55.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 7 to 8 cents lower at 6.20-6.36. Soybean bids were 11
to 13 cents lower at
13.45-13.57.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 6 to 9
cents lower at 6.24-6.47. Soybean bids were 8 to 10 cents lower
at 13.54-13.70. Wheat bids were 15 to 19 cents lower at
6.25-6.44.
