Illinois country grain prices were
lower on Wednesday afternoon. Technical and fund selling at the
Board of Trade weakened corn futures. Many traders are beginning
to even positions ahead of the USDA report that will be released
on Friday morning.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 10 to 11 cents lower at 6.00-6.15. Soybean
bids traded 1 to 3
cents lower at 13.37-13.52.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 9 to 10 cents lower at 6.10-6.25. Soybean bids were 2
to 4 cents lower at
13.41-13.55.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 9 to
10 cents lower at 6.14-6.36. Soybean bids were mostly 2 to 4
cents lower at 13.53-13.64. Wheat bids were 9 to 10 cents lower
at 6.15-6.35.
