Esposito, the "Breaking Bad" star who has been on Broadway in the recent revival of Tennessee Williams' "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," will play a fictional Bronx Borough President who is forced by the mortgage crisis into a confrontation with a local minister, played by Jones. Shanley will direct.
The play will officially open June 11 and play a limited engagement at Atlantic Theater Company's main stage through June 24. Previous plays in Shanley's trilogy include "Doubt" and "Defiance."
